Over the past 20 years, I have been so fortunate to report on issues that impact humanity. It has been an honor to shine a light on these issues that are often difficult to discover otherwise in the media industry. In just the last few years alone, countless journalists and content creators have been censored and outright banned simply for not falling in line with mainstream narratives. Livelihoods have been destroyed for daring to speak up. These platforms have entitled themselves to have the ultimate authority on which content they deem acceptable, while disguising this behavior as a noble cause to protect us from content that may be “harmful.”

Content creators and consumers are more than ready to leave these corporations behind. As I’ve said before, what is happening right now is not a war of ideas- it’s a war against ideas. While these platforms may do as they will, people all over the world deserve to choose for themselves the content they wish to see.

This is why ISE Media is so critical to the future of content creation. Our mission is to create a decentralized platform that allows creators to produce content without fear of censorship. We also aim to establish a funding system to further support creators. My cause is five-fold. Struggle to maintain the power or right to express one’s opinions without censorship, restraint, or legal penalty. Second, the protection of sufficiently broad public discourse. Third, the protection of scientific discovery, a process which requires the free exchange of ideas. Fourth, provision of counterbalance to propaganda, namely biased or misleading information provided by mainstream media, typically in support of a political cause or point of view. Fifth, an extra voice for the more vulnerable in society; children, elderly, the sick and the poor.

Why was the Declaration written?

The Declaration was written from a global public health and humanitarian perspective, with special concerns about how the current COVID-19 strategies are forcing our children, the working class and the poor to carry the heaviest burden. The response to the pandemic in many countries around the world, focused on lockdowns, contact tracing and isolation, imposes enormous unnecessary health costs on people. In the long run, it will lead to higher COVID and non-COVID mortality than the focused protection plan we call for in the Declaration.

Who is the intended audience?

This is an international declaration, written with concerns for the entire world. It was written for the public, fellow scientists, and government officials.

Who wrote the Declaration?

The Declaration was written by Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Dr. Sunetra Gupta and Dr. Martin Kulldorff.  A family member and a journalist helped with phrasing, grammar, and proof reading. Nobody else saw the declaration before it was completed in its final form.

Our research has identified a need for public policy to reflect a broader and more balanced approach across a number of key areas, in particular:

*Impact of restrictions across the whole of the healthcare system and on wider society;
*Cost vs benefit of school, college and university closures;
*The mental health impact of the restrictive measures;
*Mass-testing procedures and associated data analysis;
*A full assessment of the psychological impact, on individuals and wider society, of COVID-19 communication policies;
*Safe and effective treatment and prevention/prophylaxis options, in addition to vaccination, to increase survival rates.

Consultations from HART will be founded on scientific, evidence-based principles in the interests of public health. We want to encourage clear, calm and compassionate discussions.

Our experts take a collaborative approach and invite contributions from all sectors and interested groups or communities, at all levels.

HART is a not-for-profit, unincorporated membership association and its consulting members collaborate on an entirely voluntary basis.

Exposing these scum - and other countries' scum, because I'm an equal opportunity slug-salter - is the absolute least I can do. The award is in memory of Serena Shim who exposed the criminal incubation of terrorism inside Turkey and its export into Syrian territory via the Turkish borders.
